"I was in need of new hearing aids and relocated from Eugene to Beaverton. I started out with a different doctor who ultimately left the practice to move on to instructing at Pacific University. This review, however, is not about her. It is about Dr. Chris Adams. I have been a patient of hers for a few years now. Dr. Adams has been wonderful. She listens, responds, does not talk down to you and genuinely cares about you. She is BY FAR the best audiologist I have ever had and I have a lifetime of hearing issues behind me. I have asked her on several occasions if I should upgrade my hearing aids and typically she tells me no. Her focus is definitely on her patients and she truly understands our struggles, financial constraints and frustrations. She was a breath of fresh air. Dr. Adams is solid gold. I have been through enough audiologists to know what I am talking about. The front office and back office personnel are all professional, courteous, sympathetic and very good at what they do. I typically deal with Christy for some reason and she is always wonderful. She understands how to interact with hearing impaired clients (that would be all of us), is always cheerful and can solve problems quickly. Finally, for all of you reading reviews and maybe looking for an audiologist. Maybe just on the fence on making the investment in your hearing but contemplating the cost. It is well worth the money. I cannot express in words the difference it has made in my personal and professional life. I spent decades pretending to understand conversations, nodding in agreement to whatever I heard, filling in words and letters where I did not hear and just being absent, alone and living in a world of silence while the world moved right in front of me. This investment is life changing people and will likely be the best investment you make in your overall health and well being. My family and work colleagues no longer have to shout at me, I can participate fully in group conversations and more than anything - I can hear my partner when it matters most. The technology nowadays is beyond anything you can imagine. If you are on the fence - go make an appointment at Pacific Audiology Clinic today. You will never regret it."

"I took my hearing aids in because one wasn’t working. I was delighted and very impressed with Kathlyn Thompson, audiologist, who tested my hearing and explained what she was doing very clearly. She also checked my hearing aid warranty, found it expires next month, and said she could send one in now for and end of warranty check up, then send the other in when the first one comes back. As a retired Speech-Language Pathologist with some audiology training, I was pleased with the expertise of the testing and the knowledge about my aids. I wish I’d know about Pacific Audiology a long time ago."
